I love anything with a bit of the supernatural. I want some type of mystery going on; don't give me just straight romance as some people love to read. Add a murder, with some Fae, witches, shifters, vampires, a reaper, a Dhampir, perhaps a medium or two, and I'm a happy camper. Okay, I don't have to have ALL of those elements. Realistically, I can have a few humans, maybe even one human as a main character, as long as one of the primary characters is SOME type of major supernatural creature. Perhaps s/he can speak to the dead, or IS dead. Or maybe is psychic or an elemental. I recently read about a Shadow Walker. Shadow Walkers are cool. Gods and Goddesses are also rather nifty, as are many of the lesser known entities. Selkies are interesting characters, though I'm not too sure about being dragged beneath the sea, even for immortality (like my rhyme?). I ADORE shifters, and there are always tons of drama in their lives - kidnappings, alpha challenges, murders, challenges from other packs, and so on, so reading about shifters are rarely boring. And they are extremely SEXY. YUMMY. Also, since they shift in the nude, they are very comfortable with their own bodies and are also in excellent shape. I could write for days about my love of the paranormal. I haven't even mentioned ghosties or lusted after vampires yet...michelle_willms@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI love your enthusiasm! I have a thing about eyes and teeth, so I'm a vampire junkie, but I get your point about shifters, lots of sexy opportunity :D.
